It depends on the number of guests. For a small group, a home setting or a small table booked in a restaurant, a close-up magic show is the best fit. If you have 20+ guests, a stage show is the better choice.

I bring everything needed for the show: my own microphone, speaker, table and all the props. Room size is not very important, because the stage show is designed to work both up close among the guests and in a large hall or concert hall, so viewing angles hardly matter. A “stage” is simply a place in the room that gives the guests a good view.
